JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Inspect, operate and maintain sandblast equipment safely and efficiently
  • Blasts surfaces of metal parts to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, dirt, etc. and to impart specified finish
  • Loads blast media into machine hopper
  • Masks specified areas of parts to protect from blasting
  • Assist in the prepping of parts prior to being painted
  • Manually directs nozzle and controls flow of blast over surfaces to achieve required result
  • Examines finished work to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Assist all production positions in operations
  • Assist in yard maintenance and clean up
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks
  • Perform housekeeping and minor maintenance duties
  • Keep personal work area in a clean and tidy condition
  • Maintain a selfmotivated, positive and outgoing attitude
  • Any other duties as required by your Supervisor
  • At all times, be part of the team


  • Monday

  • Thursday 3:30 pm 2:00 am

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Previous experience with a metal fabricator is an asset
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment
  • Good attention to detail and results oriented
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time and working in awkward positions
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment

SALARY
$ $20.00 per hour

$1.00 per hour shift premium
