We are looking for a Project Manager - Credit Cards on the Project Delivery team at Rogers Bank. The Project Delivery Office has accountability for the execution and implementation of new credit card related initiatives.

The Project Manager - Credit Cards role is accountable for ensuring that new initiatives are run in accordance with the Bank's change management discipline, and that all required activities are completed on time, and have been appropriately tested.

This includes the development, setup, and ongoing support of the Bank's credit card platform and all customer facing and vendor interfaces.


What you'll have:


You are a seasoned Project Manager with experience in the Canadian Banking industry, including in-depth knowledge of TSYS and TS2 as an issuer and processor.

You enjoy taking the lead and playing a key part in leading the team, not only on large scale credit card initiatives from concept to launch, but also as a collaborator across all the other banking pillars.

While you should be adept at navigating the banking including regulations and compliance, you should be just as comfortable diving into new and exciting territory and partnering across the broader Rogers organization to deliver exciting new products for our customers beyond the traditional bank.

On a small team that drives big results you will lead cross-functional programs and lend your skills and knowledge to your colleagues through mentorship and collaboration.


What will you do:


This role is an integral part of the delivery team and will work in partnership with internal resources and outsourced service providers for service delivery, ensuring program design is optimized to deliver the needs of the business with processing accuracy, meeting compliance and regulatory requirements, while providing the services on budget, and providing an excellent customer experience for Rogers' customers.


Responsibilities:


  • A key contributor to help define and establish the PDO's annual project objectives including developing project plans, timelines, dependencies, and testing and validation considerations for both current and future years project deliverables, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and reprioritize regularly as required.
  • Ensure testing and validation is sound by overseeing scope and reviewing testing deliverables (test scripts, test plan and test results) and work on defect resolution, define go/no go criteria and readiness to ensure regulatory compliance and quality, with mínimal customer disruption.
  • Establish appropriate controls and validations to confirm systems are functioning for both new projects and existing platforms as prescribed, and within regulatory compliance parameters. Manage required changes in advance of new regulatory requirements coming into effect.
  • Manage key risks including project oversight, resource allocation, coordination with internal resources and thirdparty service providers so that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with mínimal customer disruption.
  • Provide regular and ongoing reporting on the status of new initiatives, proactively anticipating and highlighting risks, and developing contingency plans.
  • An integral contributor to system design, oversight on system testing and validation, including defining test plans and success criteria to ensure both high availability and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to be innovative and draw on prior industry experience to identify and implement new and better ways of doing things.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent project managers to ensure a high performing PDO.
  • Work in partnership with business functional areas in the identification, investigation, and resolution of any perceived credit card related production defects.
  • May be required from time to time after hours (24/7/365 days) for production issue identification and resolution.

Qualifications:


  • University undergraduate degree or college diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services industry with a specialization in consumer credit cards and use of TSYS TS2 as the issuer processor.
  • Canadian credit card launch experience from an IT/PDO lens.
  • TSYS TS2 migration project or Canadian credit card launch on TS
