**What you'll do
Our Supply Chain team is looking for dedicated Supply Chain Analysts to join Canadian Tire.

This position will support the Pro Hockey Life banner and is integral to the organization due to the high level of accountability associated within the role in the critical impact of the bottom line.

Our Supply Chain Analysts work in partnership with the Category Management teams to introduce exciting new products while maintaining and developing our existing product lines; ensuring that we successfully respond to the evolving needs of our customers.


The primary accountability of the Supply Chain Analyst is to manage the forecasting and replenishment of a specific product line within the Pro Hockey Life assortment.

Prior to beginning the position, the SCA's will participate in an education and training program that will provide participants with an opportunity to gain exposure to key components of Pro Hockey Life's systems and Supply Chain.

The knowledge and skills acquired through participation in the SCA training and ongoing support provided by the team at Pro Hockey Life will help the Supply Chain Analyst to make the right business decisions while on the job to best serve our customers.


To excel as a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll be an innovative leader in managing relationships with suppliers from North America and offshore by planning demand cycles and smoothing channel operations to manage the flow of inventory.

You will work closely with several cross functional groups within Pro Hockey Life to ensure timely flow of goods from suppliers, into our Distribution Centres and out to stores.

As a Supply Chain Analyst you will be accountable to improve key metrics in your line such as inventory management, forecast accuracy, and service level to our stores.


Other responsibilities may include:

  • Negotiate with suppliers for additional manufacturing capacity/ inventory and shorter lead times
  • Support merchandising initiatives ensuring that supply chain solutions are in place to effectively service our customers
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as CBM teams, Suppliers, Advertising, Associate Stores and Distribution to support the business in a manner that is profitable for the corporation
  • Forecast future demand for regular sales and promotions

What you bring

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or Commerce
  • Supply Chain experience including purchase order creation and management, inventory allocation, and inventory forecasting
  • Proficient in modeling processes to determine the financial implications of alternatives
  • Strong tactical negotiation skills
  • Strong process management skills
  • Interest/Experience in Hockey a bonus
