Job Description:

What you'll be doing


The Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (EAML) Group is responsible for all aspects of CIBC's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) regime, including development of policies and procedures, development and delivery of training, and reviewing the activities of CIBC's business and infrastructure groups, and investigative activities, including the receipt and analysis of information that may indicate money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions violation, or other high-risk activity.


Leveraging best-in-class Business Intelligence and analytical software, as a Consultant, Reporting and Insights, you'll manipulate data, gather insights, and build production quality dashboards to deliver your work.

Using Structured Query Language (SQL), Python, and Tableau in your toolkit, you will turn raw data into actionable insights.

You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed- Working with data - You can wrangle data, manipulate data, and create data sets that meet your needs. Deliver insights through visualization - Create clean, user friendly dashboards that allow you to communicate advanced insights in simple and understandable ways- Support strategic decision making - Assist and lead various business partners in formulating the business needs to help them achieve their strategic and operational goals.

You can provide insight and assistance to the EAML senior management on initiatives and operations to inform strategic and operational decisions making.

Who you are- You can demonstrate experience using Structured Query Language (SQL). Your are comfortable working in a relational database, querying, cleaning, and creating data sets. You have experience working with a Business Intelligence (BI) tool: You have previously worked with Tableau or Power BI.- You love to learn.
