Reporting to the Property Manager, the Property Administrator is responsible for administration, including A/R and A/P processing and embraces the role of tenant liaison.

What you will do:
_**Administration
- Completes credit checks and other reference checks
- Prepares New Tenancy agreements and Adjustment Notices
- Processes tenant charges
- Manages parking/locker logs
- Administers Toronto Building Registration requirements
- Trains and monitors building staff in administrative procedures and processes
- Updates rental and market reports
- Performs electronic and manual records management and other related office duties
- Performs other duties as required to assist the team including coverage of work when other staff members are absent
- Process daily accounts receivable deposits
- Reconcile accounts and process adjustments as required
- Tenant document control and tenant liaison and communication
- Resolve general accounts receivable inquiries
- Prepare Landlord and Tenant legal notices
- Prepare files for legal action
- Perform daily filing, electronic and manual records management, and other related administrative office duties
- Perform other duties as required to assist the team including coverage of work when other staff are absent
- Process Purchase Orders/Work Orders in a timely manner
- Prepare resident correspondence and invoices
- Handle internal and external enquiries relating to Accounts Payable
- Daytoday management of accounts payable issues and supplier invoices
Who you are:
_**- Proficient in accounting and financial management (A/R & A/P)
- Experience in the residential property management industry is considered a strong asset
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), Ontario Human Rights Code and Privacy legislation is an asset
