ABOUT US Canadian Linen and Uniform Services (CL) provides uniforms and related products to over 400,000 customers nationwide, across virtually every industry. From design and manufacturing to laundering and delivery, CL works with local and national clients to create and maintain a total uniform solution that promotes teamwork and establishes a professional identity. Responsibilities:


  • Punctuality is an essential job function.
  • Work in the assigned production responsibility area as planned, safely, and efficiently.
  • Assist other production teammates by performing less skilled tasks such as providing or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment.
  • Other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:


  • Basic math reasoning skills.
  • Lifting ability: up to 2550 pounds continuously; Push/pull ability: up to 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to stand/walk/sit for 8 to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced work environment that may have fluctuating temperatures and high noise levels while operating machines safely and conscientiously.
  • Must be able to adhere to safety standards.

Experience:


  • Preferred ability to understand work instructions in English.

DEPARTMENTS AND FUNCTIONS - Work quality, teamwork, and regular attendance are essential in these roles:

Floor Operations:
Receive, scan, and inspect bags of soiled garments. Sort garments into push carts for delivery to wash and dry departments.


Dry Fold:
Inspect clean product and feed it into folding/bagging machines or fold by hand as needed


Garments:
Sort garments and process based on steam tunnel, iron, or finishing requirements


Mat:
Roll and store mats using a rolling machine. Execute mat orders for route preparation.


Iron Operations:
Inspect product and feed it through the ironing machine for processing


Bundling:
Count and bundle finished garments/products for customer delivery.
