    About Us

    Our company, AlleyCorp Nord, is a Montreal-based technology hub. We are a high-end boutique consultancy for product development, technology strategy and applied AI research. Amongst our specialties are healthcare, biotech & "deep" tech.

    We work with early-stage startups, growth-stage startups, SMEs, and large-scale corporations. Since our inception, we have worked alongside and built software solutions for over 28 different startup companies.

    About the role

    We're looking for someone who has a good understanding of both the front and back ends of software development. You would be working on creating new and innovative software solutions that would benefit both our organization and our clients. This position offers a diverse and challenging mix of consulting projects. You'll be part of a team that values both independence and teamwork, which makes it a great opportunity for personal and professional growth.

    This role is targeting an intermediate to senior level.

    The Ideal profile would have

    • 3+ years of professional experience.
    • Experience with Python, Javascript and or Typescript.
    • Has experience or affinity with consulting.
    • Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to innovate.
    • A growth mindset.
    • Independence and capability to work on various aspects of development.
    • Are comfortable working across the stack, from frontend technologies like React all the way through to typescript.

While experience and skill sets are valuable, growth potential and attitudes are equally important. We are usually flexible on levels.

    Some extra stuff we love:

    • Experience working on early-stage startups or innovation projects and ability to talk to us about growing pains resulting from early technical decisions.
    • Polyglots Professional experience in multiple programming languages/stacks is great. We are not purists in any technology, but making informed and sustainable choices is key.
    • An interest in data governance and privacy – many of our companies are healthcare-related.

    What we offer

    We are a remote-first company with office space in Montreal. We prefer to hire in Quebec, but we are open to candidates anywhere in the EST±2 time zone in Canada.
