About the role:


What will you do?

  • Assist in the dissemination of performance metrics and attribution as they relate to SLGI's mutual fund product platform.
  • Aid in reconciliation of our public performance metrics, i.e. Third Party Reporting Systems (e.g. Morningstar, eVestment, Mercer, Cannex etc.).
  • Support the integration of internal and external systems i.e. mapping, developing infrastructure and automating uploads.
  • Assist in drafting RFI and RFP responses for both institutional and national accounts prospects.
  • Clearly articulate data findings and manage queries on data observations amongst stakeholder groups.

What you need to succeed?

  • 35 years' experience in mutual fund performance measurement / attribution calculations
  • Advanced MS-Excel skills
  • Applied knowledge of Morningstar Direct, Tableau, Seismic, and Loopio
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Commitment to professional growth through continuing education

Preferred skills:


  • CFA designation would be considered an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong, trustful relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Proven time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with a bias for action and a confident demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail, while maintaining a view of larger business issues
  • Ability to manage multiple internal and external relationships
  • Team player that is accountable and client focused
  • Strong problem solving and decisionmaking skills
  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and Frenchspeaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
