Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the People & Culture Advisor role contributes to the company's performance by managing the internal service strategies in support of the business objectives.

They also contribute to the company's performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations

  • Provides coaching on performance and/or disciplinary issues.
  • Owns and ensures the effectiveness of the performance management process and is accountable for all levels of the organization participating.
  • Investigates and resolves complex employee relations issues and addresses employee concerns.
  • Handles and executes employee terminations and the offboarding process.
Talent Management

  • Conducts ongoing staffing analysis for business partners on current and future state staffing and skill needs and works with HRBP-Internal Systems to meet those needs.
  • Supports the talent acquisition process.
  • Monitor, report on and develop workforce and succession planning.
  • Updates job descriptions and maintains the organizational structure.
  • Conduct market research on employee benefits and compensation packages to ensure the organization remains competitive.
Recruitment and Selection

  • Conducts ongoing supply and demand analysis for managers on current and future state staffing and skill needs and designs talent acquisition strategies to meet those needs. Actively participates in annual budget planning/labor forecasting process.
  • Performs the recruitment and selection function based on talent management strategy and organizational needs.
Onboarding and Orientations

  • Manages, sets up and leads New Employee Orientation and Onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Leads Manager Onboarding for employees transitioning internally.
Policy Implementation

  • Identifies areas of improvement regarding policy and processes.
  • Implements, interprets, and applies HR policies and processes throughout the organization to ensure consistency and best practice status.
HR Operational Support

  • In conjunction with the Director, People and Culture, partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy.
  • Acts as a change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation striving to lead processes to best practice status.
  • In collaboration with the Director, HR, analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions; programs and policies.
  • Remains current on trends and innovative recruiting techniques to compete in the market and within the industry.
  • Provide guidance, recommendations, and analysis on compensation practices and policies.
