- Provide sound risk decisions and support to Sales & Marketing teams
- Analyze financial and medical information to assess mortality and financial risk for life insurance applications
- Collaborate with reinsurance providers to manage risk exposure
- Lead projects and coach junior underwriters
- Ensure accurate and timely coverage decisions
- Bilingualism in English and French
- 4+ years of individual underwriting experience, including coaching
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and organizational abilities
- Degree in life sciences, nursing, or kinesiology
- Knowledge of individual life and health underwriting
- Advanced financial underwriting skills
