WHAT YOU'LL DO:


The Manager Laboratory oversees and supports the day-to-day operations of Laboratory Services, encompassing a full range of Laboratory services, including quality support for partner hospitals for transfusion medicine, microbiology, cytology and anatomical pathology.

They ensure the program's successful operation, growth, and alignment with planning objectives. Additionally, they manage the program's operational and financial aspects while providing leadership, direction, and support to frontline staff. Customer service strategies, quality assurance, and risk management are also key responsibilities.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or related discipline.
  • Certification in Medical Laboratory Technology preferred.
  • Over three years of leadership experience required, preferably at the manager level.
  • Minimum of 5 years hospital experience.
  • Interpersonal sensitivity and care for staff and patient wellbeing.
  • Completion of health management courses or equivalent would be an asset.
