In This Role, You Will*- Assist with the preparation of IFRS financial statements;

  • Provide technical leadership to a small accounting team;
  • Assist with technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies;
  • Ensure all accounts reconcile monthly;
  • Implement and maintain required internal controls;
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of regular reporting processes to support operations;
  • Participate in external audits;
  • Support and assist other Finance team members;
  • Special projects as assigned

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Expertlevel Microsoft Excel experience is a must;
  • Strong problemsolving ability is a must;
  • IFRS experience is preferred;
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus;
  • Knowledge of Great Plains is a plus;
  • Previous exposure to multicurrency transactions;
  • High attention to accuracy and detail in working processes and reports;
  • Able to multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment;
  • CPA designation or close to completion is a plus;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
