The Opportunity:


This position is responsible to assist Community Development department with the operation of a variety of recreation and/or arts and culture programs, summer youth camps and other community programming, ensuring that all standards and high customer service levels are met.

The Program Assistant will be responsible for supporting the implementation of various fun, safe recreation, arts and culture programs and camp opportunities.


  • Grade 10 or equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Standard First Aid Certificate
  • Commitment to the City's Cornerstone Values.
  • Criminal Records Check
  • Additional Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of arts and culture activities and requirements.

Remuneration:

$20.34 to $21.54 per hour


Hours of Work:

Hours of work as scheduled with no minimum guarantee. Availability required for daytime, evening and weekends.
