- As a strategic member of the AWS Solutions Architect team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed systems integrators.
- As a strategic technical leader in the field, provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote and accelerate partner engagements worldwide.
- Ensure customer and partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Ensure successful cloud deployment by leading indepth architectural discussions and design exercises to create worldclass AWS solutions.
- Educate customers and partners of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS.
- Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customerfacing publications such as white papers, blogs, and proof of concepts.
- In collaboration with the sales and partner teams, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS and its partner solutions.
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers and partners.
- Capture and share bestpractice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
- Open to travel within the city or province and up to 25% out of province as required for customer meetings.

- You will have a strong understanding of largescale computing solutions. The ideal candidate will have past experience working as a systems engineer or architect.
- You will keep your existing technical skills honed and develop new ones, so you can make strong contributions to deep architecture discussions.
- You will regularly take part in deepdive education and design exercises to create worldclass solutions built on AWS.
- 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Experience working within software development or Internetrelated industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry to identify patterns, use cases, and partner solutions benefiting other subverticals (insurance, payments, and banking).
