Description
We are seeking a Security Technician/Installer to join our team This will involve installation of Highly Technical Security Products.


Responsibilities:


  • Install new security systems and door access systems
  • Assist with configuration of security systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security systems and door access systems
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on systems
  • Monitor inventory of service parts
  • Assist with installation of data cable.

This position requires:

Valid Drivers License and Good Driving Record

Ability to climb a ladder to 12'

Competent with hand and power tools and lift up to 20 Kg

Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work paying close attention to details.

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, while establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.

Interact with customers and represent the company in a professional manner

Can work unsupervised to complete installation jobs and is self-motivated to complete jobs once training is complete

Have computer services / Internet access from home

Positive attitude, integrity and someone that wants to "own" the job and grow with us.


Nice to have:

Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields

Background in IT is beneficial

Basic knowledge with low voltage wiring and troubleshooting


We are willing to train the right individual

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$2,800.00-$3,800.00 per month

When required by the customer our employees will follow requirements set out by the customer.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Application question(s):

  • On occasion we have projects out of town that would require one or more night stays. We provide accommodations and meals for this. This would be a requirement of this position.
  • On very rare occasions we will need to schedule work on weekends, is this acceptable.
