The Opportunity

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting operations for a diverse client portfolio*****-
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance*****-
Create and implement financial policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting regulations*****-
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting*****-
Collate and analyze financial data to provide forecasts, projections, and budget plans*****-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor in financial matters*****-
Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records*****-
Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and best practices*****-
Provide guidance and coaching to team members and ensure their professional development*****
Qualifications
***-
Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar role, preferably in a professional services environment, for a minimum of 3 years*****-
5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience*****-
CPA designation*****-
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting*****-
Proficiency with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks suite) and open to learn new ERP systems*****-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills*****-
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and a focus on data integrity*****-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to clients and stakeholders*****-
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
