Lonestar Lumber is looking for an experienced Maintenance Worker to join our team
In business for 30 years, Lonestar is one of Western Canada's leading pallet manufacturers. We are constantly growing and looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated employee to work alongside our Head Mechanic to help upkeep maintenance in our facility

This opportunity would be for permanent, full-time, in town work with flexible hours, competitive wages, and benefits.

Wages _
start_
at $25.00/hr + based on experience and qualifications.
Successful applicants will be willing to
- work extra and/or flexible hours;
- have experience and knowledge on various trades;
- have experience and knowledge with equipment;
- is a quick learner and a hard worker;
- can work both under supervision and on tasks independently.

The main goal for this position, is to be the right-hand human to our head mechanic.

We want to ensure continuous, working order of all our machines and equipment to reach peak optimal production with little down time.

Job description_

Applicant must be able to work well with our main Mechanic, as well as independently

Duties include, but not limited to:

Minor to major repairs
Routine maintenance
Mechanical work
General labor
Construction

As a mechanic/millwright worker, you will be completing tasks on:

variety of industrial machines, from high-powered saws and nailing machines, automatic stackers, and strappers to smaller hand tools such as nail guns.

- a variety of rolling stock including forklifts, loaders, and semi's.
- both interior and exterior work on our main mill, office, and other buildings.

From $25.00 per hour
