Headquartered in Boisbriand, Québec, and bolstered by an Aerospace Engineering Centre, MHIRJ's network of Service Centres, Support Offices and Parts Depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in Canada, the U.S.

and Germany.

Based in Boisbriand and reporting directly to the Manager Procurement Indirect Goods and Services (IGS), you will lead the strategic procurement activities related to the Corporate Services (CS) and Aircraft Services Operations (ASO) commodities for the MHI RJ Aviation Group.

This position is ideally hybrid (3 days remote and 2 days in the office to interact with peers and internal customers).

In your Role, as a IGS Procurement agent, you will:

Establish and maintain relationship with strategic suppliers located worldwide from a commercial and contractual standpoint;
Work in collaboration with MHIRJ departments to develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances;
Lead, develop and execute strategies related to the Corporate Services and Aircraft Services Operations commodities by drafting and negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet approved mandates defined by the business requestors;
Identify, analyze and realize cost reduction opportunities within the Corporate Services and Aircraft Services Operations commodities;
Collaborate with stakeholders and develop effective internal and external professional networks;
Act as single interface with Corporate Services and Aircraft Services Operations suppliers of new business;
Support Internal department requirements with appropriate sourcing strategies while optimizing synergy opportunities within MHI group;
Manage suppliers' performance and ensure the contract obligations are met;
Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance with MHIRJ procurement policies and business requirements;
Maintain records on Corporate Services and Aircraft Services Operations commodities KPIs as per IGS Procurement balance scorecard objectives.

Qualifications:

You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business and Law or equivalent;
You have three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in Procurement and contract management ideally within the Corporate Services and Aircraft Services Operations commodities;
You have experience in the aerospace industry and/or manufacturing environment, in a commercial role, an asset;
You have excellent negotiation skills with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness;
You have experience in project management;
You have strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
You are detail oriented, focused and committed to meet tight deadlines;
You have experience in delivery cost reduction initiatives;
You are able to drive improvement and innovation to deliver concrete results;
You are autonomous and are able to work under mínimal supervision;
You have a high proficiency and are a good communicator in French and English (written and spoken);
You have strong knowledge in financial management;
You can work with MS-Office, ERP/S4 Hana and Power BI.
