Job Summary
The applicant will assist with the screening and assessments of clinical participants in a clinical trial of a novel intervention for persistent auditory hallucinations in individuals with a schizophrenia spectrum disorder.
Organizational Status
The Research Assistant will report to the Principal Investigator, Dr. Menon to support the research study.
Work Performed- Assists in telephone screening and intake assessment of clinical participants; Responsible for data entry;- Maintains research related records and databases;- Performs other related duties as required.
Errors made could influence the ability of research team to meet deadlines, as well as compromise the integrity and success of the research project.
The Research Assistant will be supervised by study Principal Investigator, Dr. Menon.

None.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation and a minimum one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one's own
- Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing one's own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience working with clients with psychosis, and carrying out symptom ratings of delusions and hallucinations.- Familiarity with psychiatric questionnaires and interviews;- Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills; Experience with computers and computer software including MS Word for Windows, MS Excel, Power Point and SPSS;- Ability to work independently and within a team environment;- Statistical analysis skills will be an asset.
