As a Production Operator you can expect:

Responsibilities:


  • Sort the plastic resource product in a highvolume environment.
  • Work safely at all times and follow plant safety and food safety procedures
  • Conduct routine checks to keep the sorting safe and free of debris.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and address challenges effectively.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for production processes.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills/Experience:


  • Able to work independently and within a small team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Maintain high levels of attendance.
  • Be eager, upbeat, and have a positive attitude.
  • Previous manufacturing experience would be an asset.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:


  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, able to crouch, climb stairs, bend and kneel, as well as capable of heavy lifting and carrying.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection and bump cap must be worn on the production floor.
