Our client is looking for a seasoned professional with a Civil Engineering Degree with a minimum of 10 years of Canadian Construction Experience.

- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Civil Engineering Degree Required
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and procedures applicable to the construction industry.
- Work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and risk management
- Proficiency in programs such as Word, Excel, Office, AutoCad and more
- Excellent communication skills
General Responsibilities
- Assist and advise the project teams with budgets, techniques and negotiations with major partners.
- Negotiate construction contracts with subcontractors and make recommendations on contract awards.
- Plan and organization project milestones and make recommendations to optimize processes and improve productivity.
- Establish and review budgets for various projects in collaboration with PM's
- Review monthly progress reports
- Ensure work is carried out as per guidelines within budget and schedules.
- Manage daily operational aspects of the project by providing project management expertise and guidance, enforcing project standards, anticipating and troubleshooting issues and minimizing exposure to risk
- Communicate, inform and confirm understanding of the supervisory team regarding relevant information such as plans, contracts, site schedules, follow ups etc.

Salary:
From $140,000.00 per year
