Key Responsibilities:

Working closely with host and management to establish clear direction of daily content
Researching segment topics
Booking segment guests
Establishing relationships with media contacts related to the program (political, entertainment, etc.)
Responsible for creating show ideas and booking talent
Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of news and social issues that relate to our audience
Working with host to record other production that is required
Remaining conversant with all departmental production equipment

Skill requirements:

Post secondary degree/diploma from a recognized Broadcast Program or equivalent experience
Strong communication and writing skills
Demonstrated creativity skills in engaging users
Must be organized and able to handle multiple assignments
Excellent interpersonal skills and has a positive attitude
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
Strong computer skills and internet proficiency
Highly motivated and with the ability to meet high production standards and tight deadlines
Ability to work in a fast paced, customer focused environment
Knowledge of English required:Interactions with English speaking customers or people outside of Quebec
