Description
To support new and existing customers with purchases of products from Koyo Canada Inc.

This position needs to work well with other members of the Operations group, warehouse staff, and the Sales department in order to be successful in their roles.


Essential Duties and Accountabilities:


  • Follow up on customer specifications and communicate where necessary
  • Follow up on backorders and communicate with customer
  • Check EDI files processed and make necessary corrections
  • Checking inventory availability for customer sales orders
  • Communicating with customers enquiring about products and needs
  • Communication with customers to confirm requirements
  • Demand Management
- advise the Sales department when customer orders are not materializing as planned

  • Complete the Open Orders Report on a weekly basis; including running and reconciling the report
  • Participate in internal and external training initiatives
  • Uphold and participate in the Koyo 5S program

Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities and requires excellent organizational skills and planning skills when preparing for workflow distribution.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent customer service skills

  • Attention to detail, extremely organized and focused
  • Excellent communication skills (reading, listening and understanding)
  • Understanding of Koyo Canada Inc.'s products
  • Excellent data entry skills and accuracy
  • Proficient with various Microsoft computer software
  • Microsoft outlook software required
  • Oracle or SAP CSR experience is an asset

Education and Experience:


  • High School Diploma
  • 23 years' experience in a busy callcenter atmosphere
  • 23 years customer service experience

  • The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to warehouse areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toe shoes/boots.
  • Sitting with intermittent walking.
  • Occasional travel to US for training may be required with short notice; employees should have valid Canadian passport.
