    Job Description:
    We are looking for an experienced Catering Prep Cook to join our team at beBee Professionals in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a professional kitchen setting.


    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
    • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
    • Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
    • Prepare cooking ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and grinding items
    • Cook food in various utensils or grillers
    • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
    • Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
    • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of two years of experience in a professional kitchen setting
    • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation regulations
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent knife skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to lift heavy objects
