What you'll do


Reporting to the Manager, Operational Communications, the Operational Communications Analyst will be responsible for delivering insightful analytics on and leverage analytics for actionable recommendations that optimize operational communication vehicles for Canadian Tire and Party City Stores.


  • Analyze data related to operational communications sent to CTR and Party City Stores and provide actionable insights.
  • Influence technical solutions to enable efficient data retrieval.
  • Collaborate with Operational Communication and Retail Operations Teams to develop measurable KPI's for key business initiatives.
  • Provide monthly financial reporting on The Operational Communications budget and make recommendations on how to reduce costs.
  • Develop and define standard operational communication engagement thresholds that align with our digital focus.
  • Refine weekly scorecard of communications platform engagement to inform stakeholders on communication effectiveness.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Manage vendor invoicing as required.

What you'll bring

  • Undergraduate degree or postsecondary education and 13 years in a data analytics role or relevant experience.
  • Superior proficiency with Google Analytics and other analytics platforms
  • Superior analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources
  • Demonstrated ability to provide actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency with

Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Teams

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Detailed oriented and selfmotivated
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
