About the role:


Key job responsibilities:


  • Build and develop a team of highly effective, successful, and thriving BDRs
  • Practice servant manager approach to developing each individual direct report
  • Focus on each BDR's individual progress with a keen focus on their longterm goals
  • Lead from the front to build a repeatable sales motion for a product that has significant traction
  • Own processes, metrics, and best practices that yield a highperformance sales team
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to provide pipeline analysis with fallback strategies for shortfalls
  • Develop and measure team KPIs for inbound leads, outbound targeted accounts, and lead revival campaigns
  • Pattern spot from BDR conversations on the shifting needs of the market
  • Optimize Fable's use of various technology platforms to help scale our growth and exceed targets and KPI's _Salesloft, Hubspot, Sales Navigator, Avoma, Zoominfo_
  • Understand customer needs and align the selling motion with the buyer's journey
  • Develop sales collateral for the sales team (scripts, message templates)
  • Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for the leadership team, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
  • Work collaboratively across teams including Engineering, Product, and Marketing.

Requirements:


Skills required:


  • Experience leading and coaching teams selling SaaS Enterprise solutions with a deep understanding of the sales process and sales technologies
  • Experience leveraging and optimizing sales technologies to drive team performance including Sales Engagement platforms, Call Recording & Conversation Intelligence, Prospecting and Insight Tools. Ideally; _Salesloft, Hubspot, Sales Navigator, Avoma, Zoominfo_
  • Experience building and scaling a sales team, preferably within an earlystage startup
  • Flawless written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • You have a proven track record in Enterprise sales including scaling outbound and account based selling strategies
  • You have strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
  • You have a strong ability to initiate action and proactively develop strategies and identify potential opportunities independently.

You Must Be:


  • A clear communicator able to distill complex ideas into simple statements
  • A coach who is candid enough to talk straight while compassionate enough to have their advice land
  • 5+ years in SaaS sales either as an individual contributor or as a leader
  • 2+ years as a BDR leader in SaaS
  • Experience with early stage start up sales team development; could be as an individual contributor
  • Passionate about the top of the funnel with a proven track record of leading a BDR team to consistently achieve and exceed goals. Not afraid to step in as a playercoach to ensure success of the team.

Nice To Have:


  • Fullcycle sales leadership experience but with a passion for the top of the funnel
  • Experience with assistive technology or usability testing
