What We Need:


The Technical Analyst, Sub-Metering is responsible for coordinating site visits, collecting and reporting data, analyzing, and investigating discrepancies, upholding regulatory SLA percentages and engaging in healthy client relationships.


What You'll Do:


  • Coordinate and perform site visits internally and externally
  • Maintain and troubleshoot onsite communication hardware
  • Perform manual data collection as required
  • Configure new installations if required
  • Identify and report stale or defective meters and equipment
  • Collaborate with vendors and PMs remotely to resolve onsite issues
  • Collect and analyze meter data, investigate missing data
  • Monitor FTP file transfer and perform regular validation
  • Ensure regulatory SLAs are preserved
  • Classify, analyze, and translate trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Optimize billing, read capture, and operational processes at the utility level
  • Engage and participate in weekly communication meetings with clients and vendors
  • Provide backend support to other departments regarding end customers
  • Identify and escalate issues that may have a customer impact

What You'll Bring:


Experience and Education:


  • Undergraduate diploma in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or IT Communications
  • Previous experience in data analytics or IT communications in the Utility industry, considered an asset
  • Experience performing site visits to deal with communication issues (changing modems and communications devices, etc.)
  • 2+ years' statistics/data analysis experience

  • Basic knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server

Working Conditions:


  • Hybrid office environment
  • A successful SIN and passport clearance along with a police vulnerability check is required
