Business Development /Inside Sales Representative with a proven track record in growing sales, business development and marketing to independent and major retailers in North America and the Caribbean.

Gross annual wages of $55,000 to start plus Commission - no cap on monthly paid sales commission earned from the previous month:

In the role you will:


  • Create new leads in the Caribbean and North American markets using various resources including trade show leads, call prospecting, cold calling and web based database
  • Qualify all leads for potential business opportunities through telephone sales
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers through daily contacts and visits when required
  • Extract new leads and marketing data, create reports, data analysis
  • Update database, price lists, preparation and distribution of daily electronic reports
  • Preparation of marketing material and keeping updated on existing and new product lines
  • Preparation of quotes for potential and existing customers
  • Maintaining major accounts for all assigned regions


  • Attend Trade Shows

  • Domestic and International trade shows 3 times per year including assisting with the setup of booth

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales driven and business development environment
  • Cold Calling
  • Travel to Trade Shows twice annually 1 week duration
  • Valid Passport, Canadian driver's license and vehicle
  • Advanced sales, interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to build relationships with customers
  • Advanced level proficiency in Excel, microsoft outlook, PowerPoint, Word

  • Excellent English communication oral and written skills
  • Innovative, analytical and strategic problem solver; ability to gather details and analyze for decision making to resolve problems in a timely matter with a focus on a high level of customer service and recognition of business objectives

  • Time management and organizational skills to manage priorities and workflow
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time to meet deadlines
  • Flexible to work some evenings & weekends at trade shows 3 times annually
  • Must be physically fit to assist in the setup of trade show booths and perform any other manual labour tasks as required
