We are currently hiring for a full time IT Field Service Technician job in Vancouver BC, applicants must live in the lower mainland, have a valid drivers licence and a Valid Work Visa if applicable.

You also must have 1-3 years of experience in this role and have a strong knowledge of Windows, Desktops & Laptops, Servers, Printers, Networking such as firewalls and switches, and IMAC.

POS experience is a plus but not required.

All travel is reimbursed including expenses and mileage.

IT Field Service Technician job responsibilities:

• Maintain & have the ability to troubleshoot computer systems, servers and network hardware, printers and POS
• Install firewalls, switches, servers, WAPS
• Perform network room clean up and office moves
• Update and maintain documentation
• Onboarding
• Learn a variety of roles for vacation coverage and overflow
• Be prepared to be dispatched to site for critical instances and major incidents
• Cross train in our Service Centre in Surrey (depot) configuring and repairing machines

Requirements:

• Available to work extended hours including weekends and evenings (scheduled or emergency work)
• Strong written and verbal communication skill
• High school diploma and college or university enrollment/degree
• 2+ years experience working as a Field IT Technician
• Excellent technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7, and Windows 10 operating systems
• Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards
• Familiar with networking and network devices
• Cloud Migration
• Possession and use of an owed car for travel between locations (we do have a car availabe but you may need your own for non scheduled emergency field)
• Valid Drivers Licence
• Ability to lift a 20 lbs. box from the floor to a tabletop surface
• Previous MSP experience
• Amazing Customer Service
• High level of onsite Professionalism

Compensation:
$23-30/hr.


Salary:
$23.00-$30.00 per hour
