Missions and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources of Air Liquide Canada, the Manager, Human Resources Projects has a dual mandate.

He/she supports and facilitates the transformation projects inherent to the human resources function in all Air Liquide Canada entities, including Healthcare.

He/she also implements innovative strategies adapted to the needs of Air Liquide Canada's multiple business units in terms of talent development, career planning and knowledge transfer processes.


More specifically, he/she:


  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in the change management process leading to the implementation of the new human resources model.
  • Proposes solutions aimed at obtaining a strong adhesion of stakeholders targeted by the change, including the various business units partners.
  • Sets up a platform for sharing and exchanging transformationrelated information with the stakeholders.
  • Implements the necessary measures to facilitate a winning transformation.
  • In collaboration with the heads of the various business units, introduces a career path plan for the company's staff.
  • In line with the demographic challenges facing the organization, sets up a structured knowledge transfer process.
  • Identifies the managers' training needs within the various business units.
  • Reviews the training curriculum for managers and adapts it in line with the typical profiles to be developed in line with the organization needs.
  • Develops or proposes training programs adapted to managers' needs.
  • Implements a coaching and mentoring program.
  • Updates the talent management process for managers at the various sites.
  • Establishes partnerships with various universities in Canada in order to promote CO-OP programs with the organization.

Competencies and Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline Languages: English and French required
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of resultsoriented experience in recruitment or human resources
  • Handson experience in Change Management
  • Proficiency in the Google+ environment and good experience with a TTY, recruiting technology and hunting and recruiting tools, technologies and platforms.
  • Highly organized individual, able to multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent information management and research skills with a very high attention to detail. Excellent ability to integrate easily into teams and quickly understand requirements.
