The Opportunity:

We are seeking an innovative VP of Operations for a permanent full-time position at our Hamilton office.

Reporting to the CFO/COO, you will be responsible for streamlining business operations and collaborating with the senior leadership team to lead and support cross functional projects.

The VP of Operations is responsible for monitoring key department performance to ensure high quality operations and managing the key relationships with vendors, clients, and employees.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify operational gaps and develop strategies and solutions to resolve gaps
  • Define and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and controls as they relate to the overall business operations
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for the operations department
  • Oversee daily activities of operations to ensure they align with core business objectives as well as maintain strong internal controls
  • Optimize tools and systems used across the business (Salesforce, Netsuite, Zendesk, etc)
  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure smooth operations and growth of the company
  • Analyze and interpret data and metrics to make informed decisions
  • Maintain relations and ensure that vendors are high quality, priced effectively, and deliver efficiently, and implement proactive plans to manage any vendor issues
  • Recruit, train, and develop high performing operational teams that consistently achieve predetermined KPIs

Required Skills/Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related area or equivalent
  • 10+ years of operations experience in a smalltomedium sized business with an entrepreneurial and highgrowth environment
  • Previous experience analyzing and implementing systems
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proven track record in analyzing data and hitting performance metrics
  • Exceptional time management and problemsolving skills, and capable of overseeing a large number of programs and projects that thrive in a complex environment, often with competing priorities
  • Strong competence with MS Office, CRM software, and ERP software

Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:

  • Previous operations experience in SaaS industry
  • Previous experience working in software, merchant services, payment services, gift card, loyalty, automotive, petroleum, retail and/or hospitality industry position
  • Experience working at a startup company with an entrepreneurial environment
  • Marketing services and technology background

Languages:


  • English (mandatory)
  • Bilingual French/English (preferred but not required)

Compensation:


  • Base $140,0000
  • Quarterly paid performancebased bonuses
