WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS:
The Regulatory and Compliance Specialist supports the Operations Department by providing monitoring of domestic and applicable foreign regulations, drafting manual amendments, and assisting with the response to QA findings and SMS investigations.

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS:
The Regulatory and Compliance Specialist supports the Operations Department by providing monitoring of domestic and applicable foreign regulations, drafting manual amendments, and assisting with the response to QA findings and SMS investigations.
Note:
This is a non-flying position.
Responsibilities:
Monitor domestic and applicable foreign regulations for new and amended content.
Ensure the Operations team is aware of domestic and applicable foreign regulatory changes and assists with drafting policy and procedure amendments to ensure the operation remains compliant.
Ensure the Operations team maintains regulatory compliance during each manual amendment by reviewing and cross-checking each amendment prior to submission to the regulator.
Draft manual amendments for the Operations group.Conduct Risk Assessments.
Draft responses to Operations Quality Assurance audit non-conformities.
Investigate Operations related SMS reports.
Monitor and report to the Operations group changes to Boeing documents and procedures related to Flight Operations and the B737 MAX aircraft type.
Assist with maintaining the Airline library.Assist with maintaining the companies Boeing Library and supporting documents.
Assist with maintaining the company's aircraft weight and balance system.
Assist Flight Operations with importing company aircraft and ensuring the aircraft are ready to enter service on time.
Work cohesively with the operations team, including the company Technical Writer.
May perform other job duties as directed by Flight Operations leadership.
