Join our team as we seek a vibrant, authentic, and driven Account Manager to spearhead our Dairy & Sports Nutrition division.

We're on the lookout for individuals with a proven track record in Dairy, Dairy Alternatives, Beverages or Sports Nutrition manufacturing.

Your territory will be in Ontario with occasional travel to Quebec and the USA.

Here are the main responsibilities of our Account Managers:

  • Developing sales with both new and existing customers in addition to maintaining existing customers in the sales territory
  • Manage key customer relationships, in line with Quadra's core values and strategic vision
  • Meet or exceed annual sales and margin objectives
  • Develop and utilize internal and external resources, showcasing Quadra's reputation for service excellence
  • Sell Quadra's superior product line to potential customers through routine customer visits, joint calls and participation in industry events
  • Assist with customer troubleshooting and optimization opportunities
  • Possess a high degree of organization, planning, and multitasking skills
  • Bring proven presentation and written communication skills
  • Adapt to a complex, rapidly changing environment
  • Manage tight timelines and deal with after hour emergencies
  • Qualify key decision makers and their needs
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships with key decision makers/influencers to obtain repeat and new sales
  • Cold calling potential customers
  • Weekly reporting and scheduling

What qualifications and previous experience are required to be successful in this role?

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology or Food Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience within the food industry working mainly with Dairy products or within the Dairy Alternatives, Beverages or Sports Nutrition space[GS1]
  • Proven technical sales within the food industry
  • Possess a strong background in businesstobusiness (B2B) sales within a distribution or manufacturing company
  • Excellent ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment while managing tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve problems efficiently and proactively are critical for managing multiple tasks, identifying opportunities, and resolving challenges effectively
