Summary:
Bell Transformation & Systems team provides guidance and support for business transformation initiatives focusing on customer experience, process efficiency, and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:
Bell Transformation and Systems team is looking for a passionate, highly organized and self-driven individual with strong leadership skills.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Business Analyst will be involved in all aspects of numerous sub-projects under the core program:
- Understand, identify and analyze business problems/opportunities and define the scope of activities required to address them
- Closely collaborate with internal teams (eg. Pricing, Operations, Legal, Finance, HR, etc) and external vendors (eg. Billing and IT partners) to translate business objectives
- Prioritize and line up all key deliverables among subprojects in preparation of phased approach roll out and mass launch
- Support postlaunch activities, defect escalations, corrections and exceptions handling, process improvements
The Business Analyst's primary responsibilities include:
- Contribute to large, transformational and complex strategic projects
- Conduct research and rootcause analysis on existing misalignments, pricing & operational gaps and failures among different systems, regions and business units
- Articulate and prioritize business requirements into system and process functional requirements
- Research and map work flow and business processes
- Facilitate and provide business impact analysis including risks assessments
- Support testing and change management requirements
- Provide regular project status update reports to Manager, Project Team and Senior Management
- Ensure Day2 processes and supporting aids are available to facilitate ongoing pricing execution post deployment
Critical Qualifications:
- Experience with all aspects of projects in complex environments (including timeline management, prioritization, scope vs risk management, issues handling, critical path
- Able to handle multiple projects and priorities at the same time while linking the dots and identify efficiencies & improvement opportunities
- Flexible to work under pressure and meet deadlines, displays high sense of urgency
- Ability to effectively lead, inspire and influence others and collaborate to achieve best results and aggressive timelines
- Very comfortable with large amount of details, deal with ambiguity and constant change
- Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills (clear, precise verbal and written skills) with the ability to deliver effective presentations through all levels of the organization
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and high performance
Knowledge and Experience:
- University degree, college diploma and or related work experience
- 35 years of Pricing and/or business analyst experience
- Exposure and understanding of various systems and architecture
- Strong understanding and experience with change management principles
- Agile methodology certified, Project Management Institute Certified(PMP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
