Description:


Reporting to the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, the position holder is responsible for collecting information, organizing the information, and carrying out the first analysis of the information of the RM (Residual Materials) optimization project.

).

He/she will be called upon to contribute to the implementation of new practices in recycling and waste management and to develop documents linked to the environmental management system.


The incumbent must be able to:

  • Collaborate with operational business partners;
  • Communicate with various external parties such as municipalities in order to gather information on the collection of RM (Residual Materials) offered;
  • Carry out followups and compile the information collected; and
  • Participate in the drafting of ISO 14001 management system documents related to the project.

Profile & Requirements:

  • College diploma or Bachelor's degree in progress with specialization in an appropriate discipline (sustainable development, environment, industrial engineering) or any other combination of relevant training and experience;
  • Knowledge of the ISO 14001 standard.
  • Be available 10 to 15 hours per week during the study session.
  • Be available 30 hours per week during the summer end of contract August 30.
  • Be able to work from the office 2 days per week during the summer (flexible schedule) during the session.
  • Be available to travel occasionally within the Greater Montreal region.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office): Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English and French information collection will be done across Canada)
  • Autonomy, proactivity; sense of initiative and responsibility.
  • Effective communication, sense of priorities and belonging.
  • Demonstrate leadership; team spirit and positive attitude.
  • Be eligible for a subsidy program to help hire an intern/student.
