JOB SUMMARY
The Inventor Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining 3D models, illogic, and Content Center data of various products or systems using Autodesk Inventor software.
This role will be a driving force in ensuring 3D transition is streamlined from design, bill of materials, and product fabrication.
The position will lead to training and coaching of the production release team on utilizing new software and processes for deliverables.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIESTechnical/Function
- Models Inventor content and ensures validation by collaborating with required teams.
- Continuously engages with the design team to associate and maintain the product library.
- Provides support for next step downstream tasks and fabrication process.
- Other duties as required
- Develops and maintains strong customerfocused relationships with all stakeholders.
- Be proactive in seeking their input to create solutions that meet internal/external customer needs
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Inventor certified with thorough knowledge of building systems assemblies, libraries, Ilogic, I-Features and Content Center
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in using Autodesk Inventor software
- Indepth knowledge of an Inventor supported manufacturing process.
- Exposure to façade fenestration product and Construction industry
SKILLS
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Resourceful, with strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to map existing workflows and recommend technology solutions to support or improve them.
- Exposure to virtual construction software and tools
- Knowledge of product assembly and IOT fabrication machinery
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills, problemsolving abilities, and professional judgment.
