- Applies advanced knowledge to develop design procedures software and tools to facilitate high quality costeffective technical project activities.
- Develops work plans and estimates of required maintenance and rebuild work for locomotives and rolling stock for projects.
- Manages communication and collaboration with full design team.
- Conducts review of project deliverables from the locomotive and rolling stock perspective.
- Oversees the development and implementation of complex inspections and development of workplans
- Initiates and creates project plans with responsibility for preparing presentation and maintenance and rebuilding programs, as required.
- Prepares diagrams, schematic drawings, work lists and maintenance plans.
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.
- May oversee the work of less experienced team members.
Qualifications Qualifications**:
- College diploma
- 6 years of experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to travel to work locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience
Additional Information
- Sponsorship for obtaining a Canadian work permit is not available for this position.
- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $81K to 125K $
