RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the safe operation of equipment; excavator, dozer, backhoe, and loader
  • Read and interpret blueprints and contract documents
  • Set elevations and grades for roads, underground utilities, and slap prep
  • Ensure compliance to WM Safety Standards
  • Organize daily activities with crews and subcontractors
  • Lead daily site meetings, monitor and record regular activities/ productions
  • Ability to problem solve through coordination of Management and engineering
  • You are a leader with the ability to coach and train others
  • Work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate attention to quality and details

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 23 years of work experience in the civil industry
  • Valid BC Driver's License
  • Must be physically fit and able
  • Must be able to fine grade
  • Have experience with GPS Grade Systems
  • Must be a solid communicator
  • Must be comfortable in industrial/civil settings
  • Must be a team player

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
