The Role:
The Marketing Manager (Go-to-Market) reports to the Director, Marketing (Go to Market), and is a critical role for an experienced and dynamic marketer within a growing Marketing team at Medcan.
The position is focused on building and executing successful marketing campaigns and programs for both B2C/B2B audiences, aimed at creating awareness and excitement, demand generation and deepening client engagement in support of new and expanded locations.

- Know how to be an advocate for a focused gotomarket plan and are skilled at understanding the requests of internal stakeholders and translating them into clear marketing objectives and plans.
- Value customer insights, but don't suffer from analysis paralysis combining knowledge of best practices with a bias for action, with results being the focus. You partner well with a diverse group of internal stakeholders, helping them deliver results quarterbyquarter, while balancing the need to play the long game.

The Accountabilities:
- People Management: this role will manage a single Campaign Specialist
- Work crossfunctionally with key stakeholders to develop, execute and measure integrated marketing plans to drive awareness, engagement, and acquisition for B2C/B2B customers.
- Establish and implement meaningful campaigns to deepen our relationship with existing B2C/B2B clients, including lifecycle management, crosssell, upsell, retention and loyalty strategies.
- Support the creation and execution of events that deliver an exceptional client experience including pre
- Lead the internal gotomarket initiatives designed to engage and excite all Medcanners in building brand reputation strategies and create internal awareness to amplify marketing programs and assets.
- Maximize Medcan sponsorships including endtoend management of the onsite experience, marketing activation tactics and engaging internal stakeholders for input and participation
- Highly organized understands the endtoend accountabilities of a project, managing timeline and budget, with meticulous recordkeeping
- Intuitive asks great questions and uncovers client pain points quickly
- Selfstarter thinks several steps ahead, anticipates potential outcomes and makes things happen with limited direction

The Requirements:
- Post-Secondary education in business (marketing focus preferred) or other relevant area of study
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing communications and/or event management health & wellbeing and/or employee benefits industry experience is an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Significant depth of digital marketing experience, multichannel communications and measurement for both B2C and B2B audiences
- A highly collaborative individual that combines a strategic mindset with a handson approach
