Position Overview:

Do you love building products people love? The accesso Paradox all-in-one solution was specially designed by ski people for ski resorts and we're seeking a unique individual who bridges the gap between technical expertise and strong leadership to join our Paradox team.

You'll have a solid foundation in software development and a proven track record of delivering results independently.

Your main responsibility is to lead and support your team in their day-to-day tasks while also taking on some tasks yourself.

Location:
This role can be performed on a hybrid schedule, with at least 1 day a week at our Quebec office

Reports to:
Director of Operations & Engineering

What you'll be working on:

Build, lead, and motivate a highperforming team of developers (between 3 and 8).
Delegate tasks effectively and provide clear expectations, including oncall rotations.
Identify and develop the skills and talents of your team.
Mentor and coach junior developers.
Lead the development and implementation of complex software features.
Participate in technical discussions and make informed decisions about architecture and design.
Collaborate with the entire team to achieve the best solutions as part of the development of new features, by taking part of the development yourself.
Provide innovative solutions that will facilitate and improve the interface and user experience to increase the value of the product.

What you bring to the role:

at least 7 years in software development

- experience with technologies such as Java Spring Boot & Typescript (Angular is preferred)
- experience in micro-services development.
- experience in continuous AGILE development.
- good French/English level
- is passionate about the mountains and/or the outdoors

Have experience with Python (Django), GraphQL and Electron
Are open to an unusual work schedule
