What you will do:


Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Resource Management and Associate Dean, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining mobile lab equipment used to support culinary and baking labs within the Longo Faculty of Business.

The incumbent is responsible for issuing equipment as specified in the requisitions and ensuring equipment is assembled correctly, functioning, and cleaned prior to issuing to lab classes.

Experience


A minimum of one (1) year of practical work experience related to environment, which demonstrates knowledge of working with culinary equipment, health and safety and food safety regulations.


Skills

  • Welldeveloped interpersonal, collaborative and customer service skills across diverse working groups
  • Ability to pivot quickly and adjust to changing priorities, tasks, and deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, or in challenging situations, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations/HACCP principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
