About Us
We are a small growing food manufacturing company that has been in business for 30 years. We moved into a brand new building on Kingsway Avenue in Port Coquitlam that has AC in the kitchen.


Description
We are looking for an early morning team lead to help us make sandwiches and wraps. Hours are Sundays to Thursdays from 5am-1pm


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead a team of 25 employees
  • Train employees
  • Maintain high quality, correct portioning and beautiful presentation
  • Prep ingredients including using a meat slicer and food processor
  • Assemble sandwiches and wraps
  • Label products
  • Cleaning (dish washing, mopping etc)
  • Start 5am until production is complete (~1pm)

Expected Hours
Sun to Thurs from 5am-1pm

We work until the production is complete which may sometimes finish early or require overtime.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Leadership
  • Ability to train employees
  • Good listener
  • Experience with cooking including meat slicers, ovens and stovetops
  • Experience cleaning
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Reliability is a key requirement as this affects the whole team
  • Foodsafe 1

Salary:
From $19.00 per hour
