This is a office coordinator job for a small company.
We are looking for a tech savvy admin who is physically fit to receive goods into our coolers and freezers.
You would be in charge of day to day activities in the office such as invoicing, coordinating the delivery driver, receiving materials and call customers for inventory checks.
You will need to go into our walk in fridge (4 degrees) and freezers (-18 degrees) for 1-3 hours per day.
Your role will be integral to the success of the company. Position is available immediately.About Us:
We are a small family owned food manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years.
We are located on Kingsway Ave in Port Coquitlam and moved into a new facility less than a year ago.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Calling customers for inventory checks and answering phone calls
- Invoicing customers using Quickbooks Online
- Coordinate delivery of orders with delivery driver
- Receiving materials which may require moving up to 40 pound boxes (expected 13 hours per day)
- Operating a pallet stacker
- Paid hourly $2225 per hour
- Expected Hours: Mon-Fri ~8:00am4:00pm hours, some work on stat holidays needed in rotation with other office staff. (7:00am3:00pm is another schedule that could work.)
Qualifications:
- Physically fit (lifting up to 40 pounds)
- Detail oriented
- Good computer skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to learn new programs such as Google Gmail, Docs, Drive, Quickbooks online, inventory management system and project management system
- Good communicator with customer service skills
- Fluent in English (reading and speaking)
- Able to pass a certification to operate a pallet stacker (1 day training will be provided, driving experience is an asset)
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a modern, cloud based office environment
- Knowledge of management systems (ERP or MRP)
- Knowledge of project management apps like Trello
- Ability to speak other languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, French, Albanian, Polish, Greek, Farsi etc
Job Types:

Salary:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour
