Shovel Operator - Whitby, Canada - MLG Landscaping Ltd.

Description

• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, and other equipment.
• Spread salt or deicing agents to prevent ice buildup
• Ensure all work is preformed efficiently and safely.
• Maintain and clean equipment as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads and work in cold weather conditions.
• Previous snow removal experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to operate snow removal equipment is a plus.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
