We are a fast-growing organization, currently seeking a Technical Writer to be a key member of our high-achieving, diverse, innovating team.


The Opportunity:


The Technical Writer Associate will support the team with producing high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of Dokainish & Company.

You will work collaboratively with our Managing Partner and Senior Management, to obtain an in-depth understanding of our workflow and processes and produce high-quality documentation in support of our services, solutions, and method.


Role Description:


  • Work with our Senior Management team to develop comprehensive documentation (including flowcharts, training and howto guides, articles, SOPs, manuals, course and marketing materials, FAQ's, etc.) outlining how to perform multiple functions and processes across the organization.
  • Obtain a deep understanding of business and services to translate complex information into simple, polished, and engaging content and documentation in a variety of mediums.
  • Maintain consistency and continuity of style in communication and able to adjust voice and tone while writing.
  • Support other team members and projects by reviewing written deliverables as needed.
  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative strategies for improvement.
  • Edit, and proofread documents written by others as needed.
  • Research and incorporate current trends, delivery models and best practices into communications materials.
  • Support creation and review of professional written material such as Request for Proposal (RFP), Contracts, Service Requests, and other project related company documentation.
  • Support creation and review of copy, marketing, or other types of written deliverables as needed.
  • Complete adhoc tasks and administrative work as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • A postsecondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 35 year working experience in technical writing.
  • Experience with MERX, BIDDINGO and SAM required.
  • Impeccable writing, editing and proofreading skills accompanied by a superior attention to detail.
  • Experience with Marketing is an asset.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable in a variety of visual formats.
  • Highly creative yet solution oriented.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Technologysavvy.
  • Familiarity with Consulting is considered a plus.
  • This is an inoffice nonremote position based in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
