Description

Waste Connections is looking for a Loader Operator to join our team at our Hamilton District to work at our Transfer Station in Hamilton, ON.

This position requires a safety minded individual who can operate 950 CAT front end loader.

Shifts:
One week Monday to Friday next week Tuesday to Saturday.

6:00am - 2:00pm

Schedules may vary depending on holidays

  • Daily preuse inspection of the loader
  • Greasing machine as required
  • Pushing and piling of material in building
  • Loading trailers to maximize weight
  • When required clearing snow on some of the property
  • Unlock all gates when starting early and open building
  • Lock all gates and building when closing
  • Keeping the cab of the machine clean.

Requirements:


  • Able to work at any one of 4 facilities in Hamilton
  • Must have experience with articulated loaders
  • Must be able to top load trucks
  • Must be willing to learn to use compactor
  • Able to pass a background check.
D.Z. License would be beneficial but not required, minimum G license is required.
