    Summary:


    The Maintenance Engineer will participate in all maintenance activities associated with a Drilling Rig involving mechanical components, structural overhead, machinery, and pressure-related equipment using applied knowledge of regulatory requirements and engineering practices.

    Responsibilities:


    Oversee all Equipment and Maintenance Practices activities, including certifications and documentation.

    Work with a team of Professional Engineers, Technologists, Equipment Managers, and Operations personnel to complete Certification work in both Shop/Field environment.

    Schedule maintenance planning using Precision's Equipment Maintenance Practices in line with the company's (APEGA) PPMP.

    Knowledge & Skills:


    Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor, and the Microsoft Office suite of products.

    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Highly motivated and a self-starter who is capable of multi-tasking and able to work with minimal supervision.

    Education:


    Graduate engineer from an APEGA-accredited educational institution specializing in mechanical engineering.

    Must be registered at the time of employment as a Professional member of APEGA.

    Experience:


    4+ years of related experience is required.

    Experience with three-dimensional design software would be considered an asset.

    Field experience working on oil and gas drilling and/or servicing equipment would be considered an asset.
