Job Function_
Scan all pieces moving through Finishing and into the Buffer department to ensure orders are manufactured complete
Ability to document required data and information
Ensure all product related issues are communicated to Machine Operator and/or Team Leader
Follow shop floor controls
Perform required quality inspections
Ability to be part of a team
Able to take the initiative to solve problems, where appropriate
Must be willing to crosstrain in various areas of the department as required
Follow all Knoll safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Participate and maintain 5S in the workplace
Maintain and follow the ISO standard operating procedures
Ability to work in a multishift environment including flexible hours and weekends
Participate in and contribute to the continuous improvement process
Education Requirement_
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to communicate in English (both oral and written)
Experience_
Ability to use tape measure
One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment
