Hiring Unit:

Position Summary:


Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Varsity Livestream Coordinator will be responsible for the setup, takedown, and preparation of software/hardware for McGill home games streamed on the McGill Sports Network.

Duties

  • Ensuring all equipment is correctly set up and running smoothly, for the varsity broadcaster
  • Providing a proper set up for the following equipment (but not limited to): mixer, headsets, streaming software WireCast
  • Streaming McGill home games on the McGill Sports Network
  • Please note that standard hours are from 511 p.m. and that most varsity games occur between Thursday and Sunday._
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • General technological understanding
  • Knowledge using PlaySight 4K equipment, an asset
  • Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an Englishlanguage university where daytoday duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing
  • Minimum Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma 2 Years Related Experience
  • Hourly Salary:
