    YOUR ROLE AS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT:

    The Customer Service Agent is the main link between our clients and the production site of kdc/one in Knowlton, QC.

    He/She receives the client demands, make sure it meets the contractual agreement and enter it in our ERP system. Through calls and meetings, he/she develops a strong business relationship with our clients based on trust and mutual respect.

    She/He communicates with the clients the orders or shipment status and strives to improve our communication and the level of service.

    She/He finds solutions with the production planners when issues arises. Finally, The Customer Service Agent has a focus on process improvement and always seek opportunities to develop his competencies.

    Responsibilities


    • Communicate with the clients, receive order and understand change request on actual order.
    • Enter PO in our ERP system (AS400), once all the contractual agreements have been validated (price, MOQ, lead time).
    • Share orders and change order requests to the production planner and identifies all orders within lead time.
    • Share with the clients the production dates of their orders and any requested performance reports.
    • Maintain purchase orders, work orders and projections up to date for the next 12 months.
    • Communicate the orders status to the clients
    • Follow established process on cancellation order or push out request.
    • Manage his client's inventory and send rapidly any charge back as stated in the contractual agreements.
    • Develop with the account manager, CS&OP meeting and business review with the clients.
    • Develop tool to verify the level of business per clients and communicate rapidly change or trend to the account manager and to the management team.
    • Manage communication link to customer service.
    • Complies with company policies (e.g. safety, dress code, GMP, work instructions, etc.)
    • Analyse and propose improvement in logistic processes and participate in site improvement projects
    • Perform any other related tasks or projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor
    Qualifications


    • DEC or University degree in Operations Management
    • 3 years of experience in a pertinent position within a production environment
    • Bilingualism, excellent knowledge of English and French required
    • Good knowledge of computer systems (AS/400, Microsoft Office)
    • Demonstrate good communication skills, strong leadership and good business decision skills
    • Good knowledge of continuous improvement principles (Lean, Kata, problem solving)
    • Team Player
    • Rigorous realizing daily task
    • Good knowledge of standard purchasing procedures and production planning
    • Customer service experience
    • Demonstrates negotiating experience and skills
